Please reach out by your second trimester. I try to book pregnancy sessions around 30-35 weeks. We want to capture a beautiful bump but still have you be comfortable!
Maternity sessions are held during golden hour - the hour before sunset/sunrise.
We send over a guide of our favourite locations so you can choose a spot best suited to you!
I suggest going with neutral or earthy tones. Opt for colours and textures that complement each other without being too matchy-matchy.
Once we’ve locked in a date, I’ll provide a style guide, send my client wardrobe options across, and am more than happy to assist with outfit planning for the rest of the family.
If it rains, we’ll reschedule your session to the next available date. Since weather forecasts can be a little unpredictable, outdoor sessions are confirmed on the morning of the shoot. If we have concerns about rain or any dangerous weather, we’ll reschedule.

Newborn

It’s never too late! Older babies might not be as sleepy but they’re usually full of smiles and adorable expressions that make for beautiful photos.
As soon as you’re comfortable!
We aim to schedule your session ~two weeks after your estimated due date. However, due to the unpredictable nature of baby arrivals, this date is flexible.
Newborn sessions tend to take place within the comfort of your own home.
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled ~11am at your home.
For bubs, I have a beautiful selection of heirloom hand-knitted rompers you can choose from on the day. Then for the family, I suggest going with neutral or earthy tones. A mini session is a shorter photoshoot - typically 20/30 minutes long. It’s enough time to be able to capture a handful of beautiful images.
